Meet Dr. Carrer


Dr. Carrer is an orthopedic spine surgeon with more than a decade of experience in helping patients alleviate the pain and discomfort they’re experiencing in their spine. Dr. Carrer has worked alongside top renowned spine surgeons during her surgical fellowship training at the University of California at San Francisco as well as developed one of the first surgical anatomy laboratories in the city for resident and student education. She set the bar for promoting student education and excellence in surgical techniques and it has now become a part of standard medical training in the US.

Dr. Carrer is well known for her expertise in surgery, lateral approaches, trans-sacral and endoscopic procedures, and motion preservation. Dr. Carrer is a leader in treating patients through minimally invasive surgical techniques that alleviate discomfort due to failed back syndrome and revision surgery. Patients are able to recover faster with minimal downtime and complications when treated by Dr. Carrer.

Dr. Carrer’s dedication to her patients as well as her surgical expertise in minimally invasive techniques have gained her nationwide recognition.
