Nicholas Post, M.D. FAANS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon.

Dr. Post sees patients in the Queens, Manhattan and Long Island. He brings extensive experience to the practice of performing and researching the latest surgical techniques, specializing in complex spine, spinal deformity, brain tumor, peripheral nerve disorders, and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Post is also well versed in personal injury, workman’s compensation and no-fault processes and documentation, which are important for the successful resolution of cases that result from accident or injury.

Research shows that complex spinal surgeries performed as a team by an orthopedic surgeon and neurosurgeon significantly reduces complication rates and improves patient safety. A fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Dr. Post is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at NYU Langone Medical Center. Previously, he was Director of Neurosurgical Trauma at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center and Director of Neuro-oncology and Peripheral Nerve Surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
